G7: High tensions between Bolsonaro and Macron
On the sidelines of the G7 summit, Emmanuel Macron put pressure on his counterpart Jair Bolsonaro. This is so that it can act against the dramatic fires in the Amazon. An attitude which greatly displeased the 64-year-old Brazilian president. The latter accused the French leader of having “a colonialist mentality”. It was from August 24 to 26 in Biarritz.
