Following strong pressure from consumer groups,
Amazon has finally decided to facilitate the abandonment of
Prime in the United Kingdom. The American giant has in fact made the decision to make the
canceling your Prime fast delivery subscription through
the European Union. \n
An easier fulfillment process for all consumers
\nVery soon, the
Amazon users in Europe will have the possibility to terminate their
Prime service with just a few mouse clicks. Indeed, following complaints from the
European Commission, the American giant was forced to review its
termination policy. \n\nUntil now, cancel this
Prime subscription of 5.99 euros was a real way of the cross because consumers must respect a long and restrictive process. Without forgetting all the pressure exerted by Amazon to dissuade them from getting rid of this service with free delivery. Everything was actually done to harass them and ensure that they were kept, to the point of making termination really burdensome. \n\nMost of the complaints from Amazon users concern the complexity of the cancellation process on the mobile application but also on the website. \n\nAlso read:

Cancellation in two mouse clicks
\nFaced with this pressure exerted by consumer groups, Amazon had no other choice but to facilitate its
termination Bonus. From now on, they will be able to abandon this service with just two mouse clicks and without being harassed by the American giant. A page will open describing the different benefits and with the “continue to cancel” button. A second window will then open to allow them to terminate the membership without delay. \n\nIn a press release, Amazon stated:
“Transparency and customer trust are top priorities for us. By design, we make it simple and easy for customers to sign up for or cancel their Prime membership. We continually listen to feedback and look for ways to improve the customer experience. »\n\nAlso read:

A new policy coming into force in Europe
\nThis brand new Amazon policy has therefore just come into force in Europe, and in particular in Germany, France, but also in Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden. And, since the end of August, it has also been applied in the United Kingdom. On the other hand, it does not seem likely to arrive in other countries, such as the United States. \n\nAlso read:
