Yaël Braun-Pivet and Gérard Larcher call for a march against anti-Semitism
Next Sunday, the streets of Paris will be the scene of a march in protest against anti-Semitism. This event is supported and driven by two leading political figures, Yaël Braun-Pivet And Gérard Larcher.
Important figures in politics for a common cause
Yaël Braun-Pivet, representative of La République En Marche in Yvelines and president of the law committee in the National Assembly, urged the French to come together to firmly denounce anti-Semitism. A call which was also propagated by Gérard Larcher, President of the Senate, symbol of the essential bipartisan commitment in the fight against anti-Semitism.
The Walking Program
This march, organized in response to a recent increase in anti-Semitic acts in France, aims to send a strong message of solidarity to the Jewish community. The meeting is set for 3 p.m., Place de la République, for a route which will end at Place de la Bastille.
The event will also be an opportunity to pay tribute to the victims of anti-Semitism and to call for collective reflection on ways to combat this scourge.
