The FNSEA and the Young Farmers applaud the “tangible progress”
\n\nIn a recent statement, the National Federation of Farmers' Unions (FNSEA) and the union of Young Farmers (JA) welcomed the “tangible progress” in favor of agriculture in France. The two associations representing farmers, on this occasion, called for “suspending the blockades”.\n\n
“Tangible progress” for French agriculture
\n\nThese " tangible progress » welcomed by the FNSEA and the JA follows a series of discussions with the government. Different topics were discussed during these interviews, including the question of pension reform, the agroecological transition and the regulations in force.\n\nThe two unions particularly welcome the government's stated desire to revalorize the farming profession, as part of the "France Relance" plan. This initiative, which should enable a modernization of the entire French agricultural sector, is seen as a significant step forward by farmer representatives.\n\n
Call to “suspend blockades”
\n\nWith these “ tangible progress », the FNSEA and the JA called for “ suspend blockages » which have affected the agricultural sector in recent months. The two associations believe that French farmers must now focus on implementing the new provisions announced by the government.\n\nNevertheless, the JA and the FNSEA remain vigilant regarding the promises made by the government. They claim to continue working for the well-being of French farmers and indicate that they will resume blockades if necessary.\n\nIn short, the position of the FNSEA and the JA seems to reflect a certain optimism but also an expectation of concrete evidence from the government. The "tangible progress" welcomed by the two unions must now be transformed into concrete improvements for French farmers. It is on this basis that the FNSEA and the JA will judge the relevance of their future actions. \n\n
