My life took a turn in a split second when I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at the age of 30 years. I was still at the peak of my career, full of ambition, dreams and hopes. It was like a bomb had fallen on me. The tremor in my right hand, which I had chosen to ignore for months, turned out to be the beginning of a journey marked by many challenges and obstacles.

Helpless but not defeated

\n\n

After receiving the diagnosis, I went through a phase of disbelief and denial. After all, how could a perfectly healthy person be diagnosed with such a degenerative disease? However, even amidst the confusion and fear, there was a part of me that refused to let this disease defeat me. I knew my life had just been turned upside down, but I wasn't ready to let Parkinson's disease deprive me of the privilege of having a family.

Becoming a dad despite Parkinson's

\n\n

My decision to become a dad has not been easy, especially given my illness. My biggest fear was not being able to be the kind of father I wanted to be to my future child. However, I realized that fatherhood was not only about physical abilities, but also about unconditional love, support and nurturing.

A life disrupted but not broken

\n\n

I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease has 30 years, but that didn't stop me from become a dad. Today, I am the happy father of a beautiful toddler who is my source of joy and inspiration. Yes, illness can sometimes make things difficult. Yes, there are days when I feel helpless and overwhelmed. But when I watch my child grow and explore the world day after day, I know that every challenge is worth it.

Fighting Parkinson's with a father's love

\n\n

I firmly believe that my strength comes from my role as a father. This role gives me the motivation to continue fighting the disease, even on the darkest days. There Parkinson's disease may be a part of my life, but it does not define who I am. I am a father who, despite obstacles and challenges, fights every day to stay strong for his child.
