Parcoursup 2022: Everything you need to know about admissions results, refusal management, waiting and recommendations
\r\n\r\n\r\nTRIBUNE. #Parcoursup is a trapdoor, not a springboard
\n“The abandonment of an education system supposed to give everyone a chance and allow social progression for the benefit of a system which reproduces inequalities is inexcusable” 🖋 By @StephanTroussel https://t.co/6m5WPV1riW\n\n— Libération (@libe) June 3, 2022
What to do if admitted?
\nIn principle, when applications for membership exceed available places, universities choose people with skills more relevant to the chosen course. In the event that the same candidate is accepted by two different sectors, he or she must choose one of the two to avoid saturation of the system. However, he can also keep his membership wishes pending. \n\nFurthermore, all accepted profiles must do what is necessary to respond to the suggestions addressed to them within the period provided by the administration. It should be remembered that, whatever the level of a candidate, they can only accept one course in order to free up space for students placed on the waiting list. \nWhat is the Parcoursup waiting list?
\nOnce they are added to the waiting list, candidates can follow their progress and assess their chances of being taken into a sector. However, students can only accept one school proposal. This is also recommended to avoid ending up without registration. Indeed, you can keep your wishes pending and simultaneously accept an admission offer. \nWhat happens in the event of conditional admission?
\nIf you have a “yes, yes” for your application, rest assured, because it is a positive answer. However, generally, the student will have to take reinforcement courses to increase their level according to their profile from the start of the school year. \n\nIf you receive this response in return for your application, please note that you must inform the administration of your acceptance or refusal before June 7 at the latest at 11:59 p.m. On the other hand, for admission suggestions received within the period from June 7 to July 15, 2022, validations or refusals must be notified within at most 2 days. \n\nFurthermore, it is important to point out that candidates who find themselves without registration in a sector for their higher studies always have a chance of being accepted. They will simply have to formulate new training wishes taking into account the remaining places. Requests will be made as part of complementary admissions which take place between June 23 and September 16. \nHow do I keep a wish pending after the results of Parcoursup 2022?
\nHave you received admission offers, but would like to maintain a wish that is on hold? To do this, simply log in to your account and follow these steps: \n- \r\n
- Start by clicking on the “Accept” option for the proposal received in order to reserve your place in the establishment. \r\n
- Then click on the “Maintain” button in the box of wishes or “pending” wishes that still interest you. \r\n
Important dates to remember for the admission phases of Parcoursup 2022
\nTwo periods are essential for the results of the 2022 Parcoursup. First, you have the phase between June 2 and July 15. It represents that of receiving responses from universities to candidates who have applied. It is therefore during these days that you will know if your profile is selected, rejected or classified in the waiting list. \n\nSecondly, you have the complementary admission period. Here, candidates who have received negative feedback have the opportunity to enter further wishes. It also represents a second chance for people who previously missed their registration for various reasons. Following the same principles, they will be able to apply for new training courses among the remaining options. \nDisappointments about PARCOURSUP 2022
