\n\nIn a case that shakes the peace of the city of Meaux, the region has just taken a provisional disciplinary measure against one of its agents. The latter is suspected of having sent bomb threats to two secondary schools in the city.\n\n
Suspension of the agent pending the judicial investigation
\n\nIn accordance with the principles of presumption of innocence and protection of the interests of citizens, the regional authority has decided to suspend this agent while the judicial investigation is taking place. The suspect, a resident of the Meaux region who has worked for the regional service for several years, is presumed to have sent several bomb threats by mail and email to two local high schools. Following the alerts, the schools affected, the security forces carried out thorough searches of the two
\n\nhigh schools targeted, without however finding any explosive devices. The alerts, although false, still managed to sow a wave of panic among the high school students, their parents and the staff of the schools concerned. Serious consequences for the perpetrator\n\n
If the charges brought against the agent of the Meaux region are confirmed by the investigation, the latter would not only risk dismissal from his duties, but also serious criminal sanctions given the seriousness of the facts.
