On May 20, 2021, a lamentable tragedy fell on the band of Gaza, Or seven humanitarians have been killed in strike. Lives full of courage and compassion have been brutally extinguished, sparking outrage and mourning across the world.\n\n
Who were these humanitarians?
\n\nAmong the victims were local doctors, nurses and volunteers, all brought together by their indomitable drive to bring help to those who needed it most. Every day, they risked their lives to provide health care, food and moral support to a war-weary civilian population. \n\nDr. Ayman Abu Al-Ouf, an internal medicine specialist at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, was one of the victims who miserably died during the carnage. Tirelessly committed to treating Covid-19 patients, he was a pillar of his community and an inspiration to all who knew him.\n\n
An attack on humanity
\n\nThe death of these seven humanitarians represents much more than a bad strategic decision. It is a direct affront to the fundamental values that shape humanity: compassion, mutual assistance and respect for human life.
