This year, two special characters, Frédéric, a runner with a leg amputee, and Pierre, his orthotist, decided to run together over the famous distance of 42.195 km, showing the world that nothing is impossible.

After losing his leg in a motorcycle accident a few years ago, Frédéric never stopped dreaming. Despite the difficulties, he decided to turn this challenge into an opportunity to show the world his strength and resilience. Today, with a running prosthesis designed especially for him by his orthotist Pierre, Frédéric will run the New York Marathon not only for himself, but for all those who struggle every day against difficult circumstances.
